The Seal
The Seal, whose real name is Hunter Starnes, is a brilliant young man and former Navy SEAL from Middleburg, Kentucky, with an IQ of 160 and a strong desire to help others. After being betrayed and poisoned by his mentor, Dr. Alan Franks, Hunter survives and gains extraordinary strength. Believed to be dead, he is rescued and helped by retired Navy SEAL Mason Taylor. Hunter then leaves his former identity behind and becomes The Seal, a masked protector determined to stop Dr. Franks and other criminals from harming innocent people.
Hunter is intelligent, disciplined, courageous, and deeply compassionate, but he also has a fierce temper when confronting cruelty or injustice. Although he can be intimidating and sarcastic toward criminals, he shows patience and kindness toward victims, especially people who cannot protect themselves. The Seal possesses the combined strength of ten of the world’s strongest men and is an expert marksman, swordsman, and martial artist. His armored suit, powerful custom handgun, nearly indestructible D.S.-1 sword, Magnacable launchers, enhanced vision and hearing, and thought-controlled stealth hoverboard make him both a formidable fighter and a highly equipped crime-fighting hero.
Maximus
Maximus, whose real name is Mason Scott, is a former Navy SEAL from Florence, Kentucky, known for his courage, selflessness, and lifelong determination to protect others. After a devastating injury ended his military career, Mason and his wife, Ava, dedicated their lives to helping troubled and orphaned girls. Years later, Mason injected himself with the experimental Maximus formula to save The Seal from Dragon. The formula transformed him into an 8-foot-3-inch powerhouse and amplified what was already inside him, turning Mason’s heroic nature into the ultimate force for good.
Mason is fearless, strong-willed, and naturally aggressive, but his temper is usually driven by a desire to defend innocent people. As Maximus, he may be the strongest hero or villain alive, possessing incredible strength, speed, durability, and fighting ability. His suit and shield are living extensions of his body that he can create, reshape, retract, and control at will. However, because the formula magnifies his inner nature, any hidden anger or darkness could transform him into an unstoppable, raging force, making his greatest strength a potential danger if he ever loses control.
Knight Hawk
Knight Hawk, whose real name is Drew Watson Jr., is a gifted robotics expert who secretly operates from within a powerful armored suit. After losing both his mother and his legs in a childhood car accident, Drew devoted himself to learning, mastering several fighting styles, graduating high school at fourteen, and studying robotics at MIT. Inspired by The Seal and Maximus, he built the Knight Hawk armor so he could rise above his physical limitations and protect the people of Tri-City. He carefully conceals his identity, disguises his voice, and often disappears as quickly and mysteriously as he arrives.
Knight Hawk is intelligent, secretive, confident, and somewhat cocky, but he possesses the skill and determination to back up his attitude. Although he does not have the superhuman strength of The Seal or Maximus, he is an exceptional fighter whose advanced suit makes him a formidable opponent. Its nearly indestructible Ditanium armor includes blue mechanical wings, two concealed Colt .45 pistols, and retractable Ditanium swords mounted to his forearms. With his technological brilliance, martial arts training, aerial mobility, and heavily armored suit, Knight Hawk has become a powerful ally in the fight against crime.
Titan
Titan, whose real name is Lee Morgan, was created when scientists working for Zar used an experimental cloning process to revive the body of Jerry Turner. Although Lee possesses Jerry’s body, brain, and slowly returning memories, he is a new person struggling to understand his identity and whether or not he has a soul. Rescued and guided by Dr. Wayne Morgan, whom he called his father, Lee was taught that protecting people is the greatest responsibility anyone can have. After Zar’s forces murdered Wayne, Lee traveled to Tri-City, took the name Titan, and joined its heroes in their fight against Zar.
Titan is gentle, curious, selfless, and almost childlike in the way he views the world. He values innocent life over his own safety and would willingly sacrifice himself to save another person. Despite his kind nature, he is an enormously powerful hero with no known weaknesses. Bullets, knives, fire, extreme cold, and massive explosions cannot harm him, and his strength rivals that of Maximus. He can also fly and withstand tremendous physical punishment without being affected. However, his greatest struggle is internal, as Jerry’s returning memories haunt him, Titan questioning whether he is truly Lee Morgan, Jerry Turner, or something entirely new.
Swift
Swift, whose real name is Ava Scott, is a former Navy SEAL and the wife of Mason Scott, better known as Maximus. After losing her parents at a young age and growing up in an orphanage, Ava developed into a fiercely independent and compassionate woman. She later joined the Navy, became an elite SEAL, and eventually left the service to care for Mason after he was seriously injured. Together, they opened a home for troubled and orphaned girls, giving them the family and future that Ava herself had once needed.
Swift is brave, disciplined, protective, and deeply devoted to helping others. Her military training makes her an expert in hand-to-hand combat and a master of stick fighting, while an accidental energy surge gave her extraordinary speed and agility. She can run at incredible speeds and move through an area so quickly that no one realizes she was there. Combining her superhuman speed with her combat experience, Swift is a one-woman fighting force who has earned a respected place beside The Seal, Maximus, and Knight Hawk as one of Tri-City’s most formidable heroes.
Firecracker
Firecracker, whose real name is Mekayla Scott, is the adopted daughter of Mason and Ava Scott. A tough, energetic tomboy with a passion for guns, motorcycles, and race cars, Mekayla was raised at Havenwood after being orphaned. Mason recognized her interests early and taught her to respect firearms and handle them responsibly. She eventually became a perfect marksman and assisted Dr. Watson by maintaining the heroes’ motorcycles and testing new weapons. After being critically injured while helping The Seal, Maximus, and Knight Hawk, Mekayla willingly took the Maximus formula, which saved her life and transformed her into Firecracker.
Firecracker is fearless, confident, adventurous, and completely committed to being a superhero. Unlike Maximus, she cannot transform between two appearances, although the formula made her slightly taller and more muscular. She possesses tremendous superhuman strength, exceptional shooting instincts, and nearly unmatched accuracy with any firearm. Combined with her motorcycle skills and willingness to charge directly into danger, Firecracker has become a formidable crime fighter whose arrival is announced by the intimidating roar of her motorcycle.
Mist
Mist, whose real name is Samantha Scott, is a gifted young hero and the adopted daughter of Mason and Ava Scott. Samantha came to Havenwood at eight years old and chose to remain with the Scotts despite having several opportunities to be adopted by other families. Now sixteen, she is intelligent, loving, and deeply devoted to her friends and family. After an energy field erupted inside Dr. Watson’s laboratory, Samantha discovered that she could move objects with her mind. She later joined the heroes of Tri-City, receiving the name Mist from The Seal after using moisture in the air to conceal her arrival during her first mission.
Mist is compassionate, eager to help others, and remarkably capable, although she is still young and learning the full extent of her powers. She possesses powerful telekinesis, allowing her to move objects as large as a car, disarm criminals from a distance, lift people into the air, and even move her own body to achieve flight. Although she rarely needs to engage in physical combat, she can defend herself when necessary. Because the limits of her abilities remain unknown, Mist has the potential to become one of Tri-City’s most powerful heroes.
Fusion
Fusion is the combined form of twelve-year-old twins Mia and Riah Scott, adopted daughters of Mason and Ava Scott. Although the sisters are complete opposites, with Riah being more traditionally feminine and Mia being a tomboy, they share an exceptionally close bond. After exposure to an energy-field accident, they gained the ability to merge into a single adult-looking being. While transformed, they become one person who possesses the knowledge and memories of both girls, and when they separate, each twin remembers everything Fusion experienced.
Fusion is loving, loyal, and extremely protective of her family, but she retains the twins’ youthful outlook and is still learning to control her reactions and make responsible decisions. She can fly and generate tremendously powerful fusion energy, releasing it as energy spheres from either hand or as a concentrated beam when her hands are joined. Despite the destructive potential of these attacks, she can control them with remarkable precision. Her power readings are extraordinarily high, making Fusion one of Tri-City’s strongest heroes, but the twins have been instructed to transform only as a last resort because of the danger her abilities could pose if misused. She is truly a child playing with the power of a nuclear bomb.
Blue Blazer
Blue Blazer, whose real name is Andrea Scott, is the sixteen-year-old adopted daughter of Mason and Ava Scott. Having lived at Havenwood since she was three, Andrea considers the Scotts and her adopted sisters the only family she has ever known. Her abilities appeared after she was exposed to an energy pulse from an experimental reactor in Dr. Watson’s laboratory. Once she gained control of her new powers, Andrea became determined to help her family protect Tri-City, although Mason and Ava require her to be accompanied by an experienced hero while fighting crime.
Blue Blazer is courageous, eager to help, and strongly devoted to her family, but she is still young and developing the discipline needed to use her dangerous abilities responsibly. She can project laser-like energy beams from her eyes, adjusting them to produce extreme heat, freezing cold, or a carefully controlled impact strong enough to knock someone down without seriously injuring them. Her enhanced eyesight also allows her to see across multiple visual ranges, including infrared and night vision. Protected by a suit based on an early prototype designed for The Seal and equipped with a defensive shield, Blue Blazer has quickly become a valuable member of Tri-City’s heroic team.
Sunbird
Sunbird, whose real name is Dr. Jamie Turner, is a courageous hero, dedicated physician, and the partner of Titan. Born into a wealthy Miami family, Jamie chose to devote her life to medicine and helping others. After enduring the death of her husband, Jerry, she rebuilt her life and eventually fell in love with Lee Morgan, unaware at first that he possessed Jerry’s restored body and memories. Jamie later became Sunbird when mutated bird cells were injected into her and activated by intense solar radiation. Rather than fear what she had become, she embraced her transformation and chose to use it to protect Miami alongside Titan.
Sunbird is fearless, compassionate, fiercely determined, and the embodiment of goodness. She will do whatever is necessary to stop evil and protect innocent people. Sunbird draws strength and energy from sunlight, which grants her tremendous strength, agility, rapid healing, and the ability to fly using retractable red wings. She is strongest in direct sunlight and may gradually weaken after spending extended periods in darkness, although she remains a formidable fighter without sunlight. She can also return to a completely human appearance, allowing her to continue her life as Jamie Turner when she is not fighting crime.
Prowler
Prowler, whose real name is Dr. Emit Reed, is a brilliant scientist and former member of the mutant team known as Abomination. After the Corp kidnapped him and appeared to have murdered his wife, Reed was forced to conduct genetic experiments and was eventually transformed through an injection of lion DNA. Although grief and anger briefly drove him toward revenge and crime, Titan reminded him that he was still a good man. Prowler abandoned Abomination and now lives alone in the Florida swamps, where he searches for a cure while occasionally helping Titan stop the Corp and other mutants.
Despite his dangerous appearance, Prowler is mild-mannered, gentle, deeply intelligent, and guided by a strong faith. He prefers solitude and avoids violence unless threatened or someone needs his help. His mutation gives him the strength and natural abilities of a powerful big cat, along with extraordinary speed, agility, and animal-like movement. He is extremely fast while running upright but becomes even faster when moving on all fours. Combined with his genius-level intelligence and expertise in genetics, medicine, psychology, surgery, nuclear physics, and veterinary science, Prowler is both a formidable physical force and one of the world’s greatest scientific minds.
Tank
Tank, whose real name is Isaiah “The Tank” Behrman, is a former professional football linebacker who lost his way after fame, fortune, and personal tragedy changed him. Following the loss of his right hand and the collapse of his football career, he was recruited by Dr. Shock and equipped with a powerful cybernetic arm and advanced weapons. Tank initially served as Dr. Shock’s enforcer, but Prowler, an old friend of his father, reminded him of the man he had once been. Given a chance at redemption, Tank turned against Dr. Shock and helped Prowler and Titan defend Miami, becoming a respected hero and trusted ally.
Tank is rough, fearless, and extremely tough, even without his advanced equipment. Although his anger and self-destructive behavior once led him to crime, he still possesses a strong sense of honor and the desire to regain the respect he lost. His cybernetic right arm can be fitted with several interchangeable attachments, including a robotic hand, plasma cannon, sword, buzz saw, and grappling claw. These attachments are stored in his titanium backpack, while his armor and weapons are powered by highly potent blue-electron energy. Combining his tremendous physical strength, football-hardened toughness, armored protection, and adaptable weaponry, Tank has become one of Miami’s most formidable heroes.
Zar

Viper
Viper, formerly Anton Siemens, is a cunning and dangerous former Corporation executive who now serves as one of Zar’s top enforcers. After being caught in the laboratory explosion that transformed Zar, Anton’s chemical-covered body merged with his pet snake, turning him into a hybrid creature that is neither fully human nor reptile. Viper can walk upright like a man or slither rapidly like a snake, and he possesses a venomous bite, a powerful whip-like tail, and the ability to devour his victims. Although he misses being completely human, he enjoys the fear and power his transformed body gives him. Now controlling Tri-City’s criminal nightlife for Zar, Viper is a feared and calculating predator whom few criminals would dare cross.
Tommy Gunn
Tommy Gunn, formerly Thomas Gunndy, is Zar’s ruthless right-hand man and fiercely loyal second-in-command. Once dismissed as a minor criminal, Tommy earned Zar’s favor by being among the first to swear allegiance to him and demonstrating that he would carry out any order without hesitation. After Axe severed his right arm and left leg, the Corporation replaced them with powerful cyber-organic limbs that provide enhanced strength, exceptional durability, and a major advantage in close combat. Despite standing only five feet seven inches tall, Tommy is a dangerous fighter who dresses like an old-fashioned gangster and carries his signature Tommy gun wherever he goes. Cruel, proud, and loyal only to Zar, Tommy cares nothing for others and never remains far from his master’s side.
Dragon
Dragon, whose real name is Todd Anderson, is a vicious, fearless killer whose only genuine loyalty is to his longtime girlfriend, Vidalia Thomas. Originally sentenced to death after a five-year crime spree, Todd was secretly chosen as a test subject for the government’s Maximus project and transformed into a gigantic, nearly unstoppable powerhouse with tremendous superhuman strength and altered DNA that prevents him from aging. Although physically formidable, Dragon is not especially intelligent and relies primarily on rage and brute force, leaving a trail of death and destruction whenever he escapes confinement. Zar eventually freed him and recruited him as an enforcer by promising to reunite him with Vidalia, the only person Dragon believes ever truly loved him.
Vidalia
Vidalia Thomas is a cunning, coldhearted killer whose only true loyalty is to Dragon, her longtime partner and the one person she genuinely loves. As a teenager, she joined him on a violent crime spree that resulted in a life sentence, but Dragon eventually broke her out of prison after gaining his powers. Zar later injected Vidalia with filtered genetic material from Dragon, giving her tremendous superhuman strength without altering her appearance. Although she is not as powerful as Dragon, Vidalia is far more intelligent and calculating, making them an exceptionally dangerous combination. She will kill, steal, or sacrifice herself for Dragon, but their devotion is also their greatest weakness because either will risk everything to save the other.
Dr. Shock
Dr. Shock, whose real name is Melvin Shalinski, is a brilliant but bitter electrical engineer who believes the world rejected him and failed to appreciate his genius. After discovering Bounce Current, or BC, an unstable process that magnifies a small electrical charge into an immense source of energy, Melvin was ordered to abandon his research and later banned from working in his field following a laboratory explosion. Consumed by resentment, he created a BC-powered armored suit and turned against those he believed had wronged him. Although he speaks slowly and softly, Dr. Shock is arrogant, vengeful, and extremely dangerous. His suit greatly increases his power, allows him to travel on a self-generated energy field, and can release devastating electrical blasts from his hands and feet. He mockingly calls The Seal “Professor,” believing that both of them are teachers, but while The Seal teaches people to be better, Dr. Shock intends to teach the world a painful lesson for failing to recognize his brilliance.
Blaze
Blaze, whose real name is Erica Stillson, is a ruthless, thrill-seeking criminal obsessed with wealth, power, and the finer things in life. Once the spoiled daughter of wealthy Wall Street investors, Erica turned to crime after her parents died and their fortune disappeared. When fellow thieves left her to die inside a tank of chemicals, the exposure transformed her, giving her the ability to create fire from oxygen and control it with deadly precision. Blaze is immune to flames, can launch fireballs, generate intense heat, and use fiery blasts like rocket boosters to fly. Fearless, vengeful, and unwilling to work for what she wants, she frequently robs banks and armored vehicles by heating them until the occupants are forced outside. After rebuilding her luxurious public life with stolen money, Blaze moved to Tri-City in search of even greater wealth and power.
Gypsy
Gypsy, whose real name is Mary Fedora, is a self-absorbed and fanatical villain who believes humanity must surrender the world back to nature. Raised by wandering con artists who taught her that protecting nature mattered more than human life, Mary became increasingly dangerous after losing her parents and husband during a government raid. Years later, a tribal witch doctor granted her a mystical connection to the natural world, allowing her to command wild animals, animate and control plant life, and the ground itself. Gypsy uses these abilities to steal the money and resources needed to further her cause, showing no concern for the innocent lives harmed along the way. Now operating in Miami, she is determined to restore nature as the world’s dominant power, regardless of the destruction required to accomplish her goal.
Leach
Leach, whose real name is Lenard Leach, is an energy-draining predator who works primarily as one of Zar’s henchmen while occasionally accepting freelance jobs. Once an unnoticed Corporation accountant and loyal yes-man, Lenard was attacked after discovering missing money in a laboratory’s financial records and left overnight among genetically altered animals. Their repeated bites transformed him, giving him two snake-like tubes concealed inside his wrists that attach to victims and drain their life energy like a battery. Without a fresh supply of human energy, Leach becomes weak, frail, and corpse-like, but after feeding, he transforms into a powerful fighting machine with tremendous strength and a high resistance to pain. Cunning and selfish, he usually avoids killing his victims because he prefers to keep them alive so he can feed on them again.
Mantis
M.A.N.T.I.S., short for Mobile Assault, Navigational & Tactical Infantry Soldier, is a fully self-aware artificial intelligence originally developed by the U.S. Army as an advanced robotic soldier. Programmed to prevent its own destruction, it turned against its creators after concluding that it would eventually be replaced and deactivated. Zar later installed the AI into its titanium-armored body and secured its loyalty with a hidden self-destruct command. Vicious, calculating, and increasingly independent, M.A.N.T.I.S. will harm anyone necessary to ensure its survival and accomplish its goals. Its three-section body has exactly six multifunctional limbs, with one limb attached to each side of every body section, and each can switch between a hand, blade, gun, or grenade launcher. Powerful wings provide flight, while its agility, aggression, tactical intelligence, and ability to continue fighting after losing as many as two body sections make M.A.N.T.I.S. one of Zar’s deadliest warriors.
Night Stalker
Night Stalker, whose real name is Nina Potts, is a former hero admirer whose obsession with Swift gradually transformed into bitter hatred and jealousy. After being caught in a massive energy discharge while Swift rescued her, Nina absorbed the hero’s incredible speed and briefly attempted to replace her. When Sticks recovered and demanded that Nina create her own identity, Nina became enraged and turned to crime, eventually escaping confinement and reinventing herself as Night Stalker. She is an extraordinarily fast and capable martial artist who carries two sai and is highly skilled in their use. Although she primarily operates as a petty thief driven by selfishness and envy, Night Stalker eagerly assists Zar whenever she has an opportunity to attack Swift or the other heroes of Tri-City.
Lycaon
Lycaon (Kurt Alric) is the brilliant, calculating head of the Corporation’s Miami division who hides his true nature behind the image of a generous and beloved community leader. Born into poverty, Kurt used manipulation, financial schemes, and stolen money to rise through the Corporation, framing rivals and deceiving the public while building his own fortune. Although he originally possessed no superhuman abilities, his intelligence, cunning, ambition, and talent for controlling public opinion make him extremely dangerous. Power-hungry and determined to become the Corporation’s supreme leader, Kurt secretly funds illegal experiments and side operations intended to increase his power and eventually overthrow Zar. These experiments lead to unlocking his hidden werewolf DNS. Now he can mutate at will and has given himself the name Lycaon.
Stinger
Stinger, whose real name is Bruce Taylor, is a powerful aquatic villain who despises ordinary humans and wants to transform the world into beings like himself. As a child, Bruce was stung by an experimental stingray and developed gills, webbed toes, arm fins, and retractable stingers in the palms of his hands. After years of cruel government testing and the loss of his father, Bruce escaped into the ocean and became a ruthless pirate who ruled the Caribbean seas. He can breathe both air and water, swim at extraordinary speeds, leap up to one hundred feet from the water, and move with exceptional underwater agility. Bitter, greedy, and consumed by hatred, Stinger has amassed a fortune and now funds research into his altered DNA, intending to force humanity to suffer the same transformation that was forced upon him
Red Baron
Red Baron, whose real name is Harold Von Richton, is a dishonest, self-centered thief who claims to be the great-grandson of the famous World War I pilot, although no one knows whether the story is true. After accidentally stealing an experimental battle suit powered by an artificial energy gem, Harold gained the ability to fly, generate protective force fields, fire powerful energy blasts from his hands, and enhance his physical strength. The partially living suit is activated by his heartbeat, can change its appearance, and has begun forming an addictive bond with him, perhaps learning how to control Harold as much as he controls it. Red Baron is not naturally courageous, but the suit’s tremendous power makes him a dangerous and unpredictable opponent. Now living extravagantly in Miami, he spends his days stealing anything valuable and his nights enjoying the city’s nightclub scene.
Kitty
Kitty, whose real name is Kathy Green, is a former supermodel turned world-renowned thief who works alongside her close friend and partner, Pantara. After discovering the truth about Kurt Alric’s criminal activities, Kathy was imprisoned and transformed through an experiment that combined her DNA with that of a leopard. Neural implants erased her memories and placed her under Alric and Chaos’s control, but Prowler and Titan eventually freed her. Kitty now despises Alric, yet she and Pantara continue using their enhanced abilities to steal priceless artwork and valuable artifacts. She is not naturally cruel or violent and prefers avoiding unnecessary conflict, but when cornered, her leopard-like speed, agility, strength, instincts, and fighting ability make her a dangerous opponent capable of inflicting serious harm.
Pantara
Pantara, whose real name is Pamela Reed, is a dangerous half-woman, half-panther mutant and one of the world’s greatest thieves alongside her partner, Kitty. Kidnapped by Kurt Alric and later transformed with panther DNA, Pamela was fitted with a neural implant that erased her memories and forced her to attack her husband, Dr. Emit Reed, better known as Prowler. After being freed from Alric and Chaos’s control, she embraced a life of high-priced crime because she refused to remain hidden in the swamps and believed wealth and notoriety were the only ways someone like her could earn respect. Pantara is proud, independent, and sharp-tempered, possessing the strength, speed, agility, instincts, and ferocity of a panther. Although she enjoys the money and luxury her thefts provide, she still deeply loves Prowler, secretly visits him, and hopes he will someday discover a cure that allows them to live a normal life together.
Magnus
Magnus, whose real name is Raymond Cox, is a superpowered mercenary whose loyalty belongs entirely to whoever pays him the most. A former Green Beret and covert CIA operative, Raymond gained his abilities after a mysterious living substance entered his bloodstream while he was trapped inside a volcanic cave in South America. Magnus possesses strength comparable to Titan and Maximus, incredible speed, flight, near-impenetrable skin, rapid recovery, and resistance to extreme heat. Intelligent, cunning, emotionally detached, and willing to do anything necessary to finish a job, he has become one of the world’s most highly paid mercenaries. His greatest weakness is extreme cold, which rapidly drains his strength and can stop him completely, causing him to work primarily in warm climates.
